In Loving Memory
My Son Clay

Aug.18,1986- Feb.3,2006

 Why God?

Oh! Mother please lift your head upward so you
may see that I am in good hands even though
your heart is burdened with the tears of loss.
I am here with you always in spirit filled love.

My wings are expanding widely to surround you
with the loving memory of times we spent on
earth together, a light so intense glows around
my being that fills me with a healing warmth.

Where I am is only a step further to everlasting
life that will be shared with you in person one day
soon for the times of misery, pain and conflict
will be at it's end for the lord sayeth so.

So you see mother, that your tears along with
all the other mothers on earth that have lost their
loved ones will only be a temporary thing because
heavens gates will open soon for all that is good.

I am dancing happily with the angels momma and
it is a glorious thing and I do understand that your
pain blocks these visions of happiness I truly share
with God each day now in his eternal realm.

Please momma don't be mad at God for allowing
this to happen, there is a better plan awaiting
us momma but it can't be explained to us at this
time of life's passing, please be happy momma.

I will always be with you momma, please do
not cry and pull yourself together so I may
be filled with your happiness as I look down
upon you. In time with many prayers you will
begin to understand your question Why God?

The above poem was written for my daughter by a very special friend.
Thank you Bobby for writing this for Lisa for the loss of her only son.
And for my precious grandson.
Clay, sweety we love you & miss you so terribly.
We find ourselves asking the question on this poem.
Why God?
But, sweetheart you are telling us what to do on this page.
Specially your Mom.God is taking care of you.
It is so hard for me to make pages for you right now.
But, you are on my mind day & night.
My heart is so heavy now for you & specially for your Mom.
We are so lost here without you.Things are just not the same.
So, MaMaw has to do this as I cry these tears for you.
You rest now & we will see you soon.
You are in our hearts till we see you again.
Rest in peace my sweet Angel.

This song was played at his funural.
